I`m 15, and have had lessons for a while, and lately have realled warmed up to the piano. I have played some pretty advanced stuff, and will start my first paino concerto in a couple of weeks. What are some good advanced pieces that I should play?

Play Chopin`s Fantasie-Impromptu I played it for my spring recital. It`s a great solo piano piece that`s hard.

Lots of people like Liszt`s Etudes Transcendentale (or however you spell).

yes i know i am not a very dedicated/talented pianist, and after such a long time at the piano i should be much better. And the mendelssohn isn`t too difficult, i agree. I was just asking what pieces for solo piano are best.

don`t get your head too high about mendollsohn dude - it`s not easy/i but it definitely isn`t difficult if you`ve ever played a concerto you`d probably shiit yourself if you saw prokofiev 3

what piano concerto? If you`ve only been playing awhile Mozart`s Sonata in AM might be a good choice (KV 331). It is relatively simple and you may recognize some of the themes.
